Bent Rigg Farm Campsite in Ravenscar offers a back to basics campsite, based on our farm in a beautiful setting. We are in a great location for exploring Scarborough and a wealth of attractions in North Yorkshire.
Our working farm boasts 350 acres of land across Ravenscar, home to 230 North Country mules and Scottish Black-Face sheep, a herd of cows, a herd of highland cattle and 2 bulls.
We offer pitches for campers, caravans, motorhomes and camper vans. Electric and non-electric area available. Facilities onsite include:
Running drinking water.
Flushing toilet .
Chemical waste disposal.
Refuse collection.
Electric hook-up.
Camp Essentials Shop. We sell milk, eggs and bread.
Shower Facilities (including 1 shower).
Only an 8-minute walk from us is the Ravenscar Tearooms, offering traditional cream teas with homemade scones, cakes and traybakes. We are 24 minutes from the harbour town of Whitby, whilst Scarborough is just a 20 minute drive away. The Cleveland Way National Trail offers beautiful 109 miles walking routes and the walk on the Cinder Track takes you to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby or Scarborough. Attractions to visit include:
