The Little Hide is an adult only glamping site. It is located within the picturesque village of Wigginton, yet is minutes from the city of York. The perfect spot for a relaxing grown up getaway.
There are 6 standard pods available, which all include a zip and link bed, lighting, heater, table, kettle, sofa, bistro table, bin, mirror, cushions and throws. All standard pods are pet friendly.
The 2 Posh Pods have the added extra of an upgraded bedside table, coffee table, heater, hot drink facilities and bistro table. We do not permit pets in these.
We also have a Yurt that has a king bed and a sofa bed – allowing a maximum of 3 adults. This unit boasts its own fridge, an armchair, heater, lighting, hot drink facilities and various other touches. This is a pet free unit.
Finally we have a Chic Cabin which can accommodate 2 people in a fixed double bed. It comes equipped with comfy seating, bedsides, coffee table, hot drink facilities, lighting, cushions, throws etc. This is a pet free unit.
There are plenty of facilities on site including 2 toilets & 4 shower blocks, a popular café, washing facilities, fridges, ironing facilities, microwave and toaster.
The site is on the doorstep of many beautiful walks. It is just minutes from the heart of York by car, bus or bike – there is a bus stop at the end of the drive which is hourly Monday to Saturday and 2 hourly on a Sunday. York has wonderful independent shops and delicious places to eat. There is plenty to see in this area including the York Minster, National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre and Clifford's Tower.
