The Alders Caravan Park is situated in the centre of the village of Alne, 10 miles from York and offers touring, motorhome and camping pods to choose from. Based on a beautiful working farm, we are ideal for a peaceful and tranquil holiday in the North Yorkshire countryside.
Alders Caravan Park offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our woodland, water meadow, animals and woodland walks all offer the discerning and nature-loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay. The park has been carefully developed to ensure privacy through internal landscaping and imaginative design. Small bays named after Yorkshire abbeys and dales provide privacy with space.
The site is level and dry with electric hook up points and modern waste disposal points. For your comfort, we have provided individual fully equipped shower rooms, all with shaver points and hairdryers and separate facilities for disabled visitors. Golf, tennis, riding and fishing are nearby as well as children's play facilities.
Our pods are located in their own space on the site. We have two standard sized pods suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. We also have three family-sized pods suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 3 children and a spacious covered area for BBQs.
During the Summer months, you may be fortunate enough to support the local cricket team as they play on the village cricket field which is overlooked by the Alders Caravan Park. Our new cafe and farm shop is open every day apart from Tuesdays and serves a selection of delicious home-made treats together with a stock of local produce including our Home Farm Aberdeen Angus beef.
