The Paddock is a family friendly touring park situated in the small County Durham town of Wolsingham near Bishop Auckland. Our touring park is adjacent to Our caravan and motorhome dealership alongside the River Wear.
Our touring park has the following facilities:
21 hard standing and 1 grass pitch all with electric.
Fresh water, waste water and chemical disposal point.
Shower and toilet block.
Washing up area.
Coded security barrier.
Local information board.
Picnic tables, great for a coffee whilst savouring your surroundings.
There is a small accessory shop, gas and awning sales. Caravan workshop on site however appointments are necessary.
Wolsingham is often called the 'Gateway to Weardale'. Originally a Saxon settlement but became for many centuries the market town for lower Weardale. A place of historic and scenic interest Wolsingham is in a conservation area and surrounded by superb countryside. Steeped in history, with many interesting buildings. Nearby Tunstall Reservoir, also a centre for angling, is delightful with wooded banks, picnic areas and log cabins.
We are only a gentle 5 minute walk to the town centre, home to 2 public houses, 1 cafe, an Italian restaurant, bakery/deli, butchers, gift shop, new Spar with fuel station, convenience store and a pharmacy. You can also enjoy scenic river walks, just 5 minutes away.

Rates: £24 per pitch per night all year round, inclusive of electric.
