Doe Park boasts a unique ecosystem, nurturing a diverse array of plants, birds, trees, and wildlife. Our ancient woodland stands as a designated site of special scientific interest, housing 400-year-old oaks, rare invertebrates, and a bustling bird community.

There is a regular bus service that goes from just outside the caravan park where guests can to the historic market town of Barnard Castle or Middleston in Teesdale. There are numerous walks that can be taken from the caravan site as well as the Teesdale and Pennine Ways walks being close by.

Adjacent to the park is Balder Banks Nature Reserve where there is a range of wildlife, birds and plants. Guests are also more than welcome to fish on the caravan sites river or the local reservoirs that are just a short drive away.
