Peake's Retreats, offers wonderful glamping accommodation in Anslow near Burton on Trent. Our yurts are perfect for an idyllic break in a glorious part of Staffordshire.
We have 2 stunning yurts available and 2 more will be arriving in the near future. A short walk to our car park offers views across the Staffordshire fields and access to local hiking trails. Our 2 six metre yurts are in a spacious field surrounded by tall hedges. Each yurt can sleep up to six people and are ideal for families, groups or a romantic getaway. We can also offer travel cots and beds for infants if required. There is no electricity to the yurts themselves so candles and a torch are provided but you may bring extra if you wish. Charging facilities are available for phones/tablets and there is a hair dryer located in the shower block.
Each yurt is tastefully furnished and comes with a range of superb facilities including a wood burning wood burning stove (starter kit of logs and kindling are provided). We also have a fire pit complete with cooking tripod outside the pod. A BBQ is available and you can use our large BBQ hut. The hut seats 24 people and is a lovely place to get together if you are a larger group.
There is a communal kitchen area with an electric range cooker, fridge/freezer and outdoor seating area. We provide luxurious washrooms with showers and toilets near the car parking area. You will find a selection of Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic toiletries for you to use along with full length mirrors and hair dryers.
We will also provide all bedding and linen for the duration of your stay along with luxury fluffy towels for each guest. We can provide extra blankets if you require them. We also provide a breakfast pack which includes locally sourced sausages, bacon, beans, tomatoes, bread and free range eggs from our own chickens. A vegetarian option is also available.
