Manor Farm Shepherd's Hut offers wonderful glamping accommodation near the quaint village of Kelmschott. Nestled in a tranquil setting near Lechlade, we are perfect for an idyllic holiday in Oxfordshire.
You can choose from our shepherd’s hut and brand-new pod. Both are well-equipped and come with everything you need for a country getaway.
Shepherd’s Hut
Our shepherd’s hut is based near our farmhouse in a meadow. The hand-built oak hut has been finished to a high standard and comes with a double bed, en suite bathroom, kitchenette and a table and chairs. The kitchenette includes 2 gas cooking rings, fridge, sink, a microwave and toaster.
Outside we have seating and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. You can huddle around the fire pit under the starry night sky. Soak yourself in the hot tub which offers a screen for privacy.
Facilities include towels & bedding, crockery and cutlery, cooking utensils and equipment, washing up liquid, dishcloths and tea towels, basic condiments- cooking oil, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bottled drinking water.
The Pod
We offer accommodation in the pod, set in a meadow near the farmhouse and a good distance from the shepherd’s hut. The self-contained pod is large and well-equipped. Inside there is a double bed, en suite bathroom, chairs and sofa. A kitchenette includes a 4-ring gas hob and electric oven, under-counter fridge, kettle and toaster.
Outside we have a table and chairs and BBQ, offering a lovely spot for a morning coffee. You can relax around the fire pit.

Our accommodation is ideally placed for exploring the Cotswolds. Within a 5-minute walk is a pub that serves food. Only 3 miles away is a good pub and Blake's Kitchen in Clanfield. Lechlade is 3 away and home to shops, cafes, pubs, takeaways and restaurants. Within walking distance from us is Kelmscott Manor and you can also stroll along the River Thames Path. Attractions to visit include:
