Cwtch Cabins & Camping offers an off-grid, eco-friendly retreat with wooden cabins, shepherd huts and camping facilities, perfect for reconnecting with nature. Each pitch includes a firepit for cooking, but you'll need to bring your own sleeping bags or duvets (with a flat sheet for the bottom if using a duvet), pillows and towels. Everything else is thoughtfully provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
The site is powered entirely by renewable energy, with solar thermal, solar PV and biomass heating the water for showers and basins, yes, there are hot showers! Cabins and shepherd huts are equipped with their own solar PV systems for charging phones, powering lanterns and providing indoor lighting. However, there are no electric hook-ups for tents, embracing the simplicity of traditional camping. Guests can cook over open fires, enjoy the natural surroundings, and perhaps even spot deer crossing the field at night or buzzards and red kites soaring above.
Accommodation includes Morgana, a whimsical crooked witch house, perfect for a family of four with a sense of adventure. It features an upper bunk double bed and two single beds below, creating a cosy, playful space. Zena, a charming Shire Hut, offers two small double beds (4x6 feet) and is a delightful choice for a family of four looking for simple comforts. At just nine square metres, Zena invites you to embrace a hobbit-like adventure. Barry, a classic shepherd hut with its own verandah, is ideal for enjoying evening wine while taking in stunning views of the Herefordshire countryside. Barry features a queen double bed (4x6'2") with additional space beneath for one or two small children.
