Hereford Rowing Club Camping in Hereford is ideal for campers and tourers looking for somewhere peaceful to stay. Our campsite in Herefordshire is on the banks of the Wye River and only a 10-minute stroll from the Mappi Mundi and Hereford Museum.
Our charming campsite enjoys glorious waterside views and steps lead down to the water. You can pull up here to rest for a night on a canoeing trip. Alternatively we make a great base for rowing on the Wye.
In total we have 45 pitches for tents, touring and motorhomes. Pitches are in a dog-friendly green field, all with stunning views of the Wye. The site has lots of parking, mooring space and room to launch and land kayaks and canoes. Facilities include showers, toilets, chemical disposal and a washing up area. There is a bar onsite but it is not always available due to holding private functions.
The gorgeous Wye valley is perfect for walkers looking to explore the local landscape. You can also visit the beautiful villages of the Black and White Trail. The close pub/restaurant is only a few minutes’ walk away and lots more pubs and restaurants are also in the area. Great attractions in the area include:
