New House Organic Farm in Kniveton offers a truly ‘back to basics’ camping experience. Our campsite near Ashbourne in Derbyshire is on a beautiful working farm.
Our charming campsite is perfect for a truly authentic camping holiday in a lovely rural setting. The site enjoys glorious views of the Peak District and is a haven for nature lovers. We have no fixed pitches and use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking. You can enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside and we do not provide electric hook ups. There are no hot water or showers. Mains water taps are available in the fields for use.
We provide an environmentally friendly compost WC and long drops. We allow campfires provided there is no damage to the ground. Handmade fire pans are available.
Our farm shop sells its own organic beef and lamb for BBQ’s. We can also provide farm walks to groups of 6 or more. The general tour includes seeing the organic production, conservation and archaeology etc.
