Greenhills Holiday Park is conveniently located within a short stroll of the Derbyshire town of Bakewell, situated amid the scenic slopes of the lower Wye Valley. This ideal setting provides a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning landscapes and offers guests an opportunity to unwind in nature.
Spanning 33 acres of beautiful countryside, Greenhills Holiday Park features accommodations for up to 140 hard-standing touring units, each equipped with 16-amp electrical hook-ups. Additionally, we have 45 tent pitches situated on separate camping fields, all with uninterrupted views of the countryside. For those looking for a longer stay, we also offer seasonal touring pitches. The touring and camping fields are bordered by mixed woodland, providing natural shelter and an added sense of privacy.
Our park facilities are designed for convenience and enjoyment. Guests can access two heated toilet and shower buildings, a licensed clubhouse, a launderette and multiple Elsan disposal points. Families will also find two children’s play areas on-site. To maintain a comfortable environment for all, we can only accommodate motorhomes up to 8 metres in length and are unable to accept American or other oversized models.
We have three centrally located hire static caravans, positioned near each other for easy access to all park amenities. Each caravan is equipped with central heating, double glazing and full insulation, ensuring a cosy stay year-round. These caravans include a large double bedroom and a twin room, making them perfect for families. Pets are welcome and each caravan comes with a full bathroom featuring a shower, an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with comfortable seating, as well as a private outdoor area with a picnic bench and parking space nearby. Guests are asked to leave caravans in a clean and tidy condition.
The clubhouse is a highlight of Greenhills, offering a great selection of local real ales, draught and bottled beers. Adjacent to the clubhouse, a well-placed playground allows adults to enjoy a drink while keeping an eye on their children. Just beyond is a large recreational field perfect for ball games and other outdoor activities.
Our park also features a renovated, heated amenity building with modern facilities, including showers, washbasins, pot-washing stations and a laundry room. All showers and hot water are complimentary, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout your stay.
