Constable Park at River’s End in Brantham offers fabulous glamping accommodation, kayaking and paddleboard hire, plus a cafe offering access to the River Stour. Our park is perfect for a magical break in Suffolk.
We have a range of glamping accommodation to choose from, all set in a gorgeous countryside setting overlooking Dedham Vale and the RSPB nature reserve. You can also enjoy paddleboard and kayak hire, with a range of guides tours available in the summer months.
Touareg Tent:
These charming tents sleep 4 or 5, great for a family or group getaway. Inside there is a proper double bed and inflatable airbeds, a toasty wood burning stove and a covered BBQ area. We also provided outdoor decking chairs to unwind on. A fire pit is provided. The toilet and shower block is just a short stroll away.
The Bird Hide:
Our delightful bird hide is perfect for savouring views of the River Stour. No bedding is provided but there is electric and the space is ideal for 4 but can sleep up to 5 people.
Bell Tents:
We have two types of lovely bell tents to choose from. Our 5m bell tents is based by the fire pit circle while our 6m bell tents offer a riverside location. Both include a proper double bed with additional airbeds available for small children. Electric blankets are available and there is a charcoal BBQ with a gas burner hob shared between 2 tents. Outside each tent, there are deckchairs to relax on in the afternoon sun.
Heron Lodge:
You can also enjoy a luxurious stay at Heron Lodge which enjoys glorious views from the feature window and a private deck area. Inside there is an open plan living space with a TV, a fully-equipped kitchen, king size ottoman bed and bunkbeds, plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A BBQ is available for al fresco dining in the afternoon.
Goose Cabin and Moorhen Cabin:
We have two upcycled cabins to choose from, with each sleeping 4 people. These cosy cabins come with an en suite bathroom, a lounge area and a kitchenette with two gas burner, fridge and crockery. Each cabin has a double bed and a pair of quirky 4ft wide end access bunk pod. At 4ft wide the bottom bunk could accommodate two small children with a third in the top bunk. Outside there is a BBQ for al fresco dining.

We also have the Coffee House, a newly built and uniquely designed building that boasts river views and offers brunch, lunch and specialty coffee, as well as some indulgent homemade cake.
Our site is in a great position for exploring the area, with lots of scenic walking and cycling routes in the area. You can also visit Manningtree, home to several pubs, restaurants and bars. Great attractions to visit in Suffolk include:

Sutton Hoo.
Abbey Gardens.
Kentwell Hall.
National Trust - Dunwich Heath and Beach.
