The Croft Campsite offers pitches for tents, motorhomes, campervans and caravans in a beautiful part of Ubbeston. Our family run site in Suffolk is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break away.
The pitches are flat and marked out, we have 45 pitches in total for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. There are 19 electric pitches. At busy times we allocate pitches, allowing groups to be sited together. There is nothing more atmospheric than sitting around a campfire with friends or family and we provide firepits for an additional cost.
Our campsite offers high-quality bathroom and shower facilities with underfloor heating, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay. To enhance your camping experience, we rent out firepits and sell wood at a very reasonable price. For rainy days, a well-equipped barn provides table tennis tables, ride-on toys and other activities, while the Cart Lodge, complete with picnic tables, offers a cosy spot to dine in style regardless of the weather.
The campsite features a recreation field perfect for football or kite flying and a playground with a traverse wall, wooden trail, wooden tractor and nest swing. For dog owners, there’s a dedicated 1/3-acre paddock where pets can roam off-lead. Every Saturday, and on Wednesdays during school holidays, guests can enjoy the Hartley Hare Hunt. The site also includes two electric car chargers
For those who love the idea of a camping holiday without the hassle, we offer a pre-erected Canvas Caban and a Camping Pod. Perfect for first-time campers, these options allow you to experience the joys of camping without the need to invest in all the gear. If the thought of camping excites you but you’re concerned about the discomfort of sleeping on an airbed, worry no more, the Pod and Caban both feature comfortable beds to ensure a restful night.
The friendly campsite owners are always on hand to assist and weekly events like Friday night BBQs create a welcoming atmosphere. Start your mornings with freshly baked pain au chocolat or croissants and on Sundays, indulge in delicious bacon, sausage, or egg rolls.
