Baconsthorpe Meadows offers camping on a working farm just three miles from Holt and fifteen minutes from the coast.

Our 5 acre campsite with 63 pitches for tents (no caravans), offers you the opportunity to stay on a working farm in the heart of the North Norfolk countryside, 3 miles from Holt and 15 minutes from Sheringham and the seaside. Please note we are a traditional campsite and have a “No Noise after 10pm” policy.

Our six camping pods provide a cosy and convenient camping experience and each sleep 2 people. Forget the hassle of pitching a tent – simply bring your bedding and settle in for a comfortable stay amidst the countryside. With three pods nestled in the Orchard and three on the campsite, you'll have ample options to choose from. Plus, you'll have access to all the communal facilities, including showers, toilets, washing up sinks, freezers, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, and more, ensuring a hassle-free and enjoyable getaway. There is one dog friendly pod.

We are unable to accommodate single sex all adult groups.

Baconsthorpe Meadows has a bridal path running along side of the campsite and we are on the Rebellion Way Cycle Route. Baconsthorpe Castle is at the other end of the village, it is a ruined castle with a moat and is a great spot for hide and seek and a picnic. Holt is a beautiful Georgian market town packed full of antique shops, boutiques, galleries and coffee shops.
