Bircham Windmill offers visitors a unique glamping experience staying in one of our beautifully built, handcrafted shepherd huts in King's Lynn, Norfolk. We are set in an idyllic location, ideal for a rural break in the countryside.
Our 2 charming huts are situated in the grounds of the mill overlooking picturesque open fields. Each hut sleeps up to 2 people and 1 has extra space for a cot or single bed. Each has kettle, toaster, table and chairs, fridge, utensils and a pull out double bed with a sprung mattress and candle lamps for a night time atmosphere. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags however linen is available to hire at an additional charge. Both huts are warm and cosy with seating both inside and out, an outdoor cooking area and our new, beautifully built shepherd’s hut shower unit completes the experience.
The huts have outside seating with basic outside gas cookers or a disposable BBQ can be purchased from the mill shop.
We also have a campsite available for caravans and tents. There is a shower on the site for guests to use at no extra charge
The games room is available for people staying in the campsite, it has table tennis, games and puzzles.
The Norfolk Coast is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. However, should you feel more energetic the area offers plenty of beautiful walks and cycle routes, alternatively why not visit 1 of the many attractions in the area such as Bircham Windmill, Pensthorpe Natural Park, Norfolk Lavender, Farmer Freds Indoor Play Area.
